The overview of European music culture and the changes of styles from the beginning of Romanticism to the Present times. Specifics of music development in western and eastern Europe. The characteristics of European music mind.
Sufficient orientation in the European music history from the beginnig of Romanticism until the end of the 20th Century. An overview of literature on the particular topic. Knowledge of the main stages of development, the turning points, the most significant representatives and their works. The ability to classify a particular work based on listening or listening to an audio recording according to a given style or style tendency. The application of gained knowledge in further studies, teaching and dramaturgical activities. |
