Course content
Listening activity II. The course aims to encourage and cultivate the listening experience of a musicology student. The recommended concerts and performances are during the spring semester: - all concerts of the international festival MusicOlomouc - Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc?s concerts - Opera and ballet performances of Moravian Theater Olomouc - other selected concerts found in News at the Department of Musicology

Learning outcomes
Listening activities II. The seminar aims to further encourage and cultivate listening experience of a student of musicology. Every listener has to attend at least 10 various high-quality opera performances or concerts during the semester (especially in Moravian Theatre Olomouc, Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, or at the international festival MusicOlomouc etc.) and submit a review in order to complete their study responsibilities.
Habits cultivation, development of the listening experience and knowledge of concert and opera life in Olomouc.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)

Attending MusicOlomouc festival and other concerts or opera performances (10 concertes) and a brief review of their positives and negatives in form of a special questionnaire. A discussion about the attended events lead by a teacher at a seminar that takes place every week or once in two weeks (attendance of 50% is required). Colloquium - final evaluating exam within the group after finishing the semester.
