Course content
The course relates to the lecture and seminar 20th-Century Music. It focuses on the listening to and interpreting of the most important compositions of this period: P. Boulez: Polyphonie X, Poésie pour pouvoir, Structures I, Le marteau sans maître, Improvisations sur Mallarmé P. Schaffer, P. Henry: Spectacle Lyrique Orphée 53 K. Learning outcomes
The course extends the listening experience with the music of the second half of the 20th century.
Students will gain the listening competence of the music of the second half of the 20th Century. They will be able to actively use their gained knowledge in their musical and dramaturgical activities.
