| Course content |
|
The course is designed for students who wish to complete BA Arts Studies degree in the respective academic year. It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which each part generally lasts about 20 minutes. Examination consists of history of music, theater or film and fine arts.

The examination should check student´s knowledge from the historiographical fields of Art Studies. The aim of the BA exam is to confirm students knowledge of the field and their ability to use modern methods.
The aim of the BA exam is to confirm students have the knowledge of the field, they can actively use modern methods and acquired essential specialist skills, knowledge and competence that they may employ in their future profession or further study.Successful completion of the BA exam demonstrates that students acquired sufficient knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the requirements of their respective study programmes and study fields. |

A student may take the final Bachelor exam after he/she has met all requirements given in the curriculum design of the Arts Studies filed set up by the Department of Musicology and all rules contained in the Study and Examination Statute of the Palacký University Olomouc.
