Course content


Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration

  • Homework for Teaching - 16 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
To gain terminological knowledge and instructions so to be able to analyse various genres and forms of tonal music.
To get acquainted with the analytic approaches and gain the basic terminological knowledge. To acquire the ability to individually evaluate and use methods for a musical work analysis. To apply the newly acquired knowledge on any musical work. To obtain the ability to evaluate the musical work in terms of its technical devising and invention.
Prerequisites
Reliable orientation in the doctrine of musical forms and tectonics, harmony and counterpoint.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Seminar Work

The activity, the regular visiting of the lesson, 3 analyses, the reading of special texts
