Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is: - to revise and to deepen students' knowledge of combinatorics, probability, and statistics, - to provide the students with a comprehensive survey of basic theoretical knowledge, concepts, and practical methods of solving problems in these areas, with an emphasis on teaching practice at the lower primary school, - to encourage future teachers to assign combinatorial problems and probability calculus tasks within the framework of their mathematics classes at the lower primary school.
The systemization and the deepening of the mathematical knowledge acquired during the students´ previous studies, from the lower primary school up to the school-leaving exam. The knowledge gained in the KPRST course of study shall be applied in the students´ teaching practice.
