Course content
Students gradually acquire knowledge about all types of disabilities, their basic characteristics and potential educational approaches.

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Attendace - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of special education.
Students will have the basic knowledge to differentiate particular types of disabilities and will be able to adequately use basic special education terminology. They will be equipped also with basic skills for communication with people with disabilities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog, Seminar Work

Students will find three newsreel, which will be related to the problems of people with disabilities. This course will end the colloquium -test.
