Course content
|
Presenting theoretical resources of mental hygiene, introducing mental hygiene as a prevention of mental illnesses. Mental hygiene at work with client. Basic relaxation and concentration techniques (autogenic training, Jacobson progressive muscle relaxation), contraindication. Practical rehearsal of various techniques.

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the subject is to present the students with basic techniques of mental hygiene such as a relaxation (autogenic training, Jacobson progressive muscle relaxation), breathing techniques and also time management etc. Students will learn how to use mental hygiene within their own profession (selfcare, work with the client). They will acquire knowledge needed for application of basic techniques.
The ability to use mental hygiene at work life and at work with client.

|
Student performance
1. Active participation in classes (max. 2 absences allowed) 2. Completion of ongoing assignments 3. Final assignment Students with ISP will study materials from Moodle during self-study. They complete the assigned assignments and also the final assignment.
