Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is for students to understand the basic concepts and processes associated with globalization; to be able to recognize and name the causes, consequences, and interrelationships of global issues and their manifestations at the local or regional level; and to be able to define how these issues determine the development of humanitarian disasters or problems.
Completion of the course will enable students to: - know the most important global issues and be able to reflect on their causes, manifestations, consequences and interconnections, especially from a social perspective; - perceive the complexity of global issues and be able to reflect on them in their work; - know the actors influencing the causes, consequences or solutions to global problems; - obtain relevant information, understand it and make decisions based on it.

- Attendance (it is possible to miss one block or two halfs of two blocks out of five - absence must be reported to the teacher) - Readiness for and active participation in the classes according to the detailed syllabus presented at the beginning of the course - Final test - Reflection on the problem chosen for the project in a global context as per the project assignment
