Course content
The course deals with the popular music from the begining of mass extension of digital music contents as the social phenomena, as well as with authors and interprets (musical, jazz, rock, country, electronic music, funk, hip hop, metal, punk, world music, etc.). On this background it offers a forum for analysis and finding an oportunities for using popular music in the context of educational situations in school facilities for non formal education and social work. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic)
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to work with phenomena of popular music in social pedagogy.
Students will gain knowledge and skills how to use popular music in their leisure. Students will make deeper their competencies in the social-pedagogical work with music.

No special prerequisites are required to study the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog

Students will analyse and assess the usage of potential of popular music in wide spectre of social-pedagogical activities in school facilities for non formal education and social work. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
