Course content
The course deals with popular music in the epoch till the mass extension of digital music contents as a social phenomenon, as well as with authors and interpreters (musical, jazz, swing, rock, rock'n'roll, etc.). On this background, it offers a forum for analysis and finding opportunities for using popular music in social work and in school facilities for non-formal education. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS Moodle.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic)
Learning outcomes
Students can work with popular music phenomena in social work and social pedagogy.
Students will learn how to use popular music in their leisure time. Students will deepen their competencies in the social and social-pedagogical work with music.
Prerequisites
No special prerequisites are required to study the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog

Students will analyse and assess the usage potential of popular music in a wide spectre of social and social-pedagogical activities. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorised students in LMS Moodle.
