Course content
It is a part of the bachelor state exam of Archival Science which is oral and is examined by an examining board according to valid study directives. A student gets a question based on a previously known list, has time for a preparation and then answers it before an examining board. Chosen concept of the questions connects general knowledge of palaeography and diplomatics, which are the main focus of the study program, with the knowledge of other Auxiliary Sciences of History.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course, which is a part of the bachelor state exam of Archival Science, is to check the knowledge of the auxiliary sciences of history of a future graduate. In accordance with the study plan, main focus is on palaeography and diplomatics, which are complemented with knowledge of eight other Auxiliary Sciences of History.

To fulfil all study requirements according to a valid accreditation of this filed of study. HF

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

A successfull passing of this part of the bachelor state exam of Archival Science includes student´s explanation of a topic on a required level and his ability to answer questions asked by an examiner or other members of an examining board. HF
