Learning outcomes
The lectures introduce the history, terminology, methodology and basic knowledge of the fields, i. e. codicology, epigraphics, genealogy, numismatics, historical metrology and chronology. The seminars are focused on reading and transcript (transcription and transliteration) of the Czech (a little bit German) texts from 16th to 20th century written in Neo-Gothic (and also humanistic) scripts, and moreover a blazon of coats of arms (the complete one) and also to convert dates such as religious holidays, Roman numbers etc. from historical documents into the modern system. HF
The lectures introduce the history, terminology, methodology and basic knowledge of the fields, i. e. codicology, epigraphics, genealogy, numismatics, historical metrology and chronology and terminology used for their description. Except for the theoretical knowledge, a student manages reading historical documents from the 16th to 20th century, a blazon of coats of arms (the complete one) and also to convert dates from historical documents into the modern system. Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Student performance, Written exam

Active preparation for lessons, reading of assigned texts, a blazon of coats of arms, class participation. A successfull passing of a credit test, which includes transliteration of Czech text written by a Neo-Gothic script, a blazon of 2 complete coats of arms and conversion of 14 dates from historical sources. Successfull passing of an oral exam. HF
