Course content |
The basic source will be a book Orbis Sensualium Pictus by John Amos Comenius. It will be used as a contemporary guide to early modern culture and also it will enable to choose and specify individual topics. Students will selected one of them and will prepare a thorough presentation, including required reading for fellow students, recommended literature, etc.

Learning outcomes |
The seminar has twofold aims. First, it is aimed at understanding various aspects of early modern culture and formation of modern European society. Second, it intends to improve presentation skills of students.
