Course content
1st course: QTD4 (Summer semester, 2 hours, lecture/seminar) 2nd course: QNP4 (Summer semester, 2 hours, lecture/seminar) Both courses are thematically connected: one course is a historiography on a given topic, the second course sources, methods. One course follows the other in a timetable: Monday 15:00-18:15. Both courses are lead by many lecturers as well as doctoral students according to their specialization. There is a possibility of extra specialists and excursions. Learning outcomes
Course focuses on selected important trends in research of various problems of the history of the 20th century. It considers selected topics, writings, their perspectives, research methods, and authors. The course is thematically connected with the course Theory of Historical Sources IV. Therefore we recommend to sign in both courses. This course was established under the terms of the project Innovation of Historical Sciences Studies at Palacký University, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0025. HF

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Dialog, Seminar Work

Requirements: Active class participation. A final credit test. A complex exam from both courses: A review on a selected course topic. A reading list. A discussion about this list, an analysis of sources and methods. HF
