Course content
Lessons are realized in a close cooperation with selected primary and secondary schools where students participate in collective as well as individual attendances as an auditors, then the analysis of visited classes with history teachers. HF

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 50 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 50 hours per semester
  • Excursion - 25 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to supplement theoretical teaching of Didactics of History and thanks to practice to prepare graduates in History for teaching history. This course is innovated under the terms of the project Innovation of Historical Sciences Studies at Palacký University, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0025. HF
Students obtain concrete experience, skills and habits by the means of direct teaching of history in the course of their university studies and before the beginning of ther pedagogical practice. They are acquainted with didactical methods and tools during history classes, check the effectivity of individual methods and forms of class organisation, learn to prepare a class. The special attention will be given to activation methods, work with textbooks, work with an interactive board, work with various types of writings, intersubject relations and key competences. HF

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Systematic Observation of Student

A participation in a given number of collective sitting in on a history class in a primary school and a grammar school, a realization of teaching in a primary school and a grammar school, a preparation for every class, completing of work sheets, a participation in a disscusion. HF
