Course content
Lectures: 1-2nd Bacis characteristic of bones, antlers and teeth as materials category for production of artifacts, Interpretion of clues, which were created during craftmen´s production. New pieces of knowledge of artifacts production and form of using of bones and antler industry from traseological study and experiments (Worked Bone Research Group (WBRG) ICAZ). Development of research of this issue and possibilities of study of professional literature. 3-13th Familiarization with each typological category of artifacts from bones, antler and next hard animal material in each archaeological culture in chronological from Paleolithic to High Middle Ages. Seminars 1.-13th Practical excercises of determintions methods of whole and its draw documentation.

Learning outcomes
Subject is taken up with artifacts from bone, antler and next hard animal materials - basic characteristic, technology of processing, typology and chronological determination of each product. Students are learned draw documentation of each atifacts category in seminars.
Individual orientation in forms and types of bone and antler industry and in methods of its study, abilities to draw documentation.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of prehistorical history and archaeological cultures.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Written exam

(1) Excursion: 25 hours = 1 credits; (2) Creation of draw tables of bone and antler industry (exercise at home): 25 hours = 1 credits; (3) Prepare to atestation: 25 hours = 1 credit.
