Course content
The course introduces the geological science to the students. Motivation course: visit of museum, outcrop, significance of geology for human society, historical aspects.

The students will - increase their knowledge of general geology - assume the principles of methods of geological survey
Prerequisites
High-school level of knowledge of Earth Sciences.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance

Colloquium: 80 % presence at lectures, knowledge of themes taught and mastery in basic methods of geological research and their application.
