Lecture
Learning outcomes
Introduction to geochemistry as a geological discipline.
The students should be able to: - define geochemistry and its importance among geological sciences - describe the formation of the universe and the Earth from the geochemical point of view - describe the geochemical model of Earth´s structure, define the chemical composition of the crust and the mantle - classify the chemical elements geochemically - describe geochemistry of atmosphere and hydrosphere. - explain the geochemistry of endogenous processes - explain the geochemistry of endogenous processes - demonstrate applications of geochemistry in survey for deposits of raw materials
