Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic orientation in the field of social work. Students will learn about the place and role of social work in the humanities and become familiar with the principle of "social networks" in the Czech Republic. Students will gain an overview of how social security benefits, state social support benefits, and social care benefits are provided. To gain an overview of the social services provided in the Czech Republic. If possible, the course will also include visits to some residential, field, or outpatient facilities, such as retirement homes, homes with special regimes, respite services, nursing services, and day care centers.
