Course content
Pulmonary rehabilitation - specifics, components, prescription lege artis. Diseases associated with the obstructive type of ventilation disorder - possibilities of complex treatment, including pulmonary rehabilitation. Diseases associated with the restriction type of ventilation disorder - possibilities of complex treatment, including pulmonary rehabilitation. Acute and chronic respiratory failure - possibilities of complex treatment including pulmonary rehabilitation. Pulmonary rehabilitation in COVID-19. Specifics of treatment of respiratory disorders in pediatric patients - possibilities of complex treatment including pulmonary rehabilitation. Specifics of treatment after surgical procedures in the area of the thorax, including lung transplantation - possibilities of complex treatment, including lung rehabilitation. Pulmonary rehabilitation for respiratory disorders based on diseases of the musculoskeletal system, neurological and rheumatic diseases.

Learning outcomes
The student will obtain detailed information about diseases of the respiratory system and respiratory disorders based on various etiologies (eg neurological disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatological diseases) and get acquainted with the comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation of such patients. The knowledge and skills that the student acquires during the study will be able to apply in their clinical practice (especially kinesiology and kinesiotherapy focused on respiratory disorders).
The student uses the knowledge gained from pulmonary rehabilitation in clinical practice, the student is able to apply the methods and procedures in the comprehensive treatment of patients with respiratory disorders.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite for the study of this subject is sufficient knowledge of kinesiology and physiology of respiration, pathophysiology of respiration, physiology of exercise, knowledge of pneumology, internal medicine, neurology, orthopedics, surgery and traumatology.

100% participation in seminars, practical verification of the use of techniques and methods of pulmonary rehabilitation for specific diagnoses and conditions - eg chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung processes, pneumonia, ARDS, postoperative conditions after chest surgery , spinal muscular atrophy, dystrophy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, transverse spinal cord lesions, Parkinson 's disease, Bechterew' s disease, scoliosis, fractures of the thoracic spine and ribs, myopathy.
