Course content
- empirical research / critical approaches - flow and postflow tv - tv seriality (series/serial, 5 prototypes of series) - television narrative - comple narration - essential theories of television

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the lecture is to present possible critical approaches to analysis of television programs, compare the profile of television with other media types at the level of the formal system. This semester the lecture is focused on the specifics of narrative forms of television.
Students will be able to apply the critical analysis of narrative television and use the basic terminology of television criticism.
Prerequisites
A prerequisite for registration for the lecture course is successful completion of KDU/USF Introduction to film studies.
