Course content
Each seminar includes a test on the material covered so far and solutions to a number of sample examples from the chapters covered: editing chemical equations, basic chemical laws, stoichiometric calculations, calculations from chemical equations, composition of solutions, mixing solutions, pH calculations. ?

Learning outcomes
Mastering basic chemical calculations necessary for routine work in a chemical laboratory. Strengthening the ability to think logically about the given problems to be solved.
The ability to calculate basic quantitative parameters for routine work in the laboratory and solving chemical problems.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of high school chemistry and math.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Conditions for granting credit: ? 100% participation in the seminar (possibility of replacing up to 2 absences due to serious reasons in the form of calculations of specified examples); ? development of all intermediate tests within the seminar; ? a score of 75% on average from all intermediate tests during the semester; ? active participation in counting during the seminar. A student who does not obtain 75% of the marks in the intermediate tests must obtain 75% of the marks in the comprehensive credit test.
