Course content
Each student prepares two presentations that are subjected to discussion by the teacher and the audience: an oral report on selected scientific paper (possibly on the research problematics related to the student's thesis) and a PowerPoint presentation introducing his/her thesis.

Learning outcomes
The seminar is dedicated to modern trends and developments in the field of biochemistry and bioinformatics and includes also presentations and discussion on the topics of Bachelor theses.
Integrate knowledge, propose solution of a given biochemical problem, formulate conclusions.
Prerequisites
The course is intended for bachelor students in Bioinformatics, who start preparing bachelor thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Full participation at the seminars is required (maximum two absences may be tolerated for serious reasons and the participation may be substituted with additional work as decided by the teacher); the student is obliged to give presentations as shown in the annotation and actively participate in the discussion on topics of the seminar.
