Course content
As part of project teaching, process information from a professional article in the form of a poster presentation. Brief familiarization of the public (students in the seminar) with the information provided on the created poster message. Acquaintance with the instructions and requirements for the preparation of a diploma thesis within the seminar and based on the information on the website of the Department of Biochemistry, PřF UP. The ability to process the theoretical part of the diploma thesis and achieved own experimental results in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, and its interpretation. Strengthening the student's ability to participate in a discussion on a professional topic. Output: Processed presentations in PowerPoint.

Learning outcomes
Obtain the necessary information for the realization of the diploma thesis. A lesson on the issue of plagiarism. Process information from a professional article in the form of a poster presentation. Acquaint the public (students in the seminar) with the information provided on the created poster message. Development of a presentation in PowerPoint, which will be the basis for the defense of the diploma thesis. Practical verification of own oral presentation skills. Strengthening the student's ability to participate in a discussion on a professional topic.
Obtaining detailed information regarding the requirements for developing a diploma thesis. Ability to process information from a professional article in the form of a poster presentation. The ability to briefly familiarize the public (students in the seminar) with the information provided on the created poster message. The ability to process the theoretical part of the thesis and achieved own experimental results in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. Improvement in the ability to create a professional presentation and its interpretation. Strengthening the student's ability to participate in a discussion on a professional topic.

The condition for obtaining credit is 100% participation in the seminar (possibility of replacing up to 2 absences due to serious reasons / substitute seminar work). Acquaintance with the instructions and requirements for the preparation of a diploma thesis within the seminar and based on the information on the website of the Department of Biochemistry, PřF UP. Elaboration of a presentation in PowerPoint, which will be the basis for the defense of the diploma thesis. Own oral presentations, including active participation in the discussion of the discussed topics. As part of project teaching, process information from a professional article in the form of a poster presentation.
