Course content
Literature search and review of original papers. Introduction to a complex task in research.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Laboratory Work
  • Attendace - 65 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 60 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 15 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Beginning of the preparation for Bachelor thesis.
Recognize and formulate the problem of a chosen or given topic from the field of biochemistry.
Prerequisites
The course is intended for bachelor students in Biochemistry, who start preparing bachelor thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student, Final Report

The student is required to submit a progress report on thesis work (2 pages A4), certified by his/her advisor. The report should be structured into: aims of the thesis, introduction in the field, methods, results/expected results and conclusions.
