Course content
|
English grammar is repeated and developed using the textbook English Grammar in Use (Cambridge University Press), Raymond Murphy. The content of the textbook is completed by terminology of chemistry (basic terminology of inorganic and organic compounds, types of chemical reactions, protein structure) and that of biological disciplines (chromosome, mitosis, meiosis, mutation, photosynthesis). An emphasis is given to successful reading and translation of texts, orientation in the text and application of the grammar, which has been taught.

Learning outcomes
|
Repetition of basic knowledge of spoken and written English obtained in secondary schools (successful passing of an English language exam at graduate level is considered advantage). English grammar is repeated and developed using the textbook English Grammar in Use (Cambridge University Press), Raymond Murphy. The content of the textbook is completed by terminology of chemistry (basic terminology of inorganic and organic compounds, types of chemical reactions, protein structure) and that of biological disciplines (chromosome, mitosis, meiosis, mutation, photosynthesis). Assessment methods and criteria

Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student
Credit is awarded on the basis of a written test, where the student must obtain at least 60% of points.
