Course content
Health: Definition, health definitions development, health in the holistic approach, individual bio-psycho-social and spiritual elements of health. Disease: Diagnostics, diagnosis, symptom, syndrome, etiology, pathogenesis. Organism?s response to stress, forms and course of illness. Autoimmune and degenerative diseases. Health determinants: Internal and external factors, lifestyle risk areas. The principle of civilization diseases occurrence. Safe community: Safe school, safe classroom, injuries prevention in children. Health Education at primary schools: Integration and cross-subject relations. Health promotional programmes Healthy School (principles and philosophy, basic rules) Health promotional programmes Health 21 Activation methods as part of health promotion Topics for seminar theses, group projects, students. individual work: The smoking prevention. The alcohol use prevention. The positive relationship to motion. Health food. Good humor The sexual education. The relaxation. Good relationships. Safety of the children.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
Education supporting healthy lifestyle in pre-school children. Draws from the various aspects of the modern concept of health.
Understanding the relationship between health and the factors that influence it. Knowledge of programs promoting health. Skill to plan and implement activities targeted to support the health of children in kindergartens.
Prerequisites
Passing the disciplines of biological issues in the lower grades.

Individual work with printed and digital resources. The processing and demonstration of the health promoting preventive programs designed for children of preschool age.
