Course content
Health - definition of health, basic terminology and concepts of health, models and determinants of health. The health status of the population of the CR. Lifestyle diseases. WHO programme "Health-for-all policy for the 21. century". National programme of restoration and promotion of health in the Czech Republic. The programme Healthy Nursery School. Illness - basic terminology, stages of behaviour during illness, consequences of illness, illness prevention. Healthy lifestyle and health education - healthy lifestyle philosophy, the concept of Health Education, the categories and objectives of Health Education, methods of Health Education. The importance of nutrition and dietary habits for human health. The composition of food, nutrition advice, health risks from food, school meals, educational principles in the diet of children. Physical activity and its importance for human health. Problems of Drug, Tabacism, alcoholism, drug addiction, and prevention. Preventing injuries and poisoning in children Personal hygiene of children - the general principles of personal hygiene, the importance of skin care for derivatives requirements for children's clothes and shoes, bad habits Mental Hygiene. Stress - types of stress, sleep, mental hygiene and leisure psychohygienické svěžesti.Význam types of mental relaxation and rest Influence of environment on health Hygiene of work - working environment, workload focused on the teaching profession. Diseases related to working conditions kindergarten teacher. Hygiene requirements for the physical conditions and operation of facilities for pre-school children. - Equipment of the microclimate. Hygiene of the educational process and care for children in nursery schools. - Regime on biological rhythms. Hygiene requirements for convalescent children's events, trips, walks, tours. Protecting children's health and safety at events organized by the MOE. Epidemiology - epidemic process, the common children's infectious disease prevention. (Airborne diseases, foodborne disease) Epidemiology - the common children's infectious disease prevention. (Arthropod-borne diseases, diseases transmitted by blood)

Lecture

Learning outcomes
Discipline acquaints students with basic knowledge of hygiene, environmental issues, plant, lighting requirements, noise, etc. with a focus on preschool education. In addition, students learn the requirements for individual personal hygiene of children in this age period. They will learn basic epidemiological risks and prevention in kindergartens, especially for so-called common childhood disease. Emphasis is placed on basic aspects of education on healthy lifestyle (and the influence of nutrition on children's health, personal safety, etc.)
