Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to undersand complicated complex issue about human body, health and illness in context of integral anthropology especially to its sociocultural components. To the students will be presented informations about biological nature of the body in the context of many questions and discussions of genetic, inborn and gained psychological, sociocultural and spiritual conctec of human somatics. To the human body will be previewed from historical point of view in context of history of anthropology and history of medicine. From the perspective of integral anthropology, we will be also interested in sociocultural, and spiritual determinants of health and illness, approaching to own health and healthcare, assessing the causes of illness its diagnostic, treatment and carring. There will be used several studies, during the education, for example Anthropologie du corps et modernité (Anthropology of human body in contect of modernity) of author Davi Le Breton (published in 2003, originally in 1990) and other chosen foreign and domestic publication and its access to human body will be presented.
