- The theme of the thesis. - The aim and focus of the thesis. - Development of curriculum work and timetable of work. - Key terms and their definition. - The issue of collecting and processing data for a thesis. - Working with literature and other sources. - Quote of literary and other sources in the thesis according to ISO 690.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar introduces future teachers ? Masters degree holder ? to the issue of elaborating a Diploma thesis. The objective of this discipline is to introduce students to working with literature, using research methods, biostatistics, elaborating conclusions and interpreting acquired results. The most important form of work in this seminar are consultations about the contents and formal part of Diploma thesis. Only students, writing a Diploma thesis from the area of Health Education, are to register for this seminar.
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Specify assumptions correct choice of thesis topic. - Clarify the rules for optimal processing of the thesis, both in content and formally. - Apply knowledge of work with literature and relevant standards. - Describe ways of working with citations in the text of the thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Seminar Work
Active participation in the seminar (mandatory participation of 90%). PC work, Internet connection. Students elaborates a project on a selected topic, according to the focus of their Diploma thesis.
