Course content
Health, definition of health, basic terminology and concepts of health, models of health, determinants of the health. 2.Hygienic requirements for physical facilities of the school - capacity , location, school grounds , school building, school furniture , bathroom. 3.Hygienics of the school environment, heating, ventilation, lighting, noise protection. 4.Hygienics requirements for recovery activities for children and youth, trips, walks, tours . 5.Hygiencs of the learning - Mode of school children, biological rhythms, school work, psychogenic stress. 6.Occupational hygienics. Professional burden, focusing on the teaching profession. Diseases related to working conditions of teachers. 7.Hygiena nutrition - food composition , dietary guidelines , health risks from food , school meals. 8.Safety and health of pupils in schools and school facilities 9. Epidemic and infectious process , prevention of infectious diseases. 10. Special epidemiology - airborne infections , foodborne disease , diseases transmitted by arthropods , intestinal parasites . 11.First aid - basic definitions , the IRS, the importance of first aid , safety compliance , examination of the patient. Orientation to the severity of the accident. 12. Bleeding , types of bleeding symptoms , a procedure for the provision of PP . 13. Emergency resuscitation , ensuring continuity DC, CPR for adult, child, infant, ethical aspects of CPR.

Learning outcomes
Special Course Propaedeutics health is focused on hygiene educational process in normal and handicapped individuals, including hygiene, learning, fatigue and overloading pupils, the scheme of school children and hygiene of the school environment.
After completing the course, students should be able to: -characterize determinants of general health; -identify the risk factors affecting the health status of students in terms of their schooling, -distinguish different types of infections according to their transmission -apply the principles of prevention of infectious diseases. -organizing process to provide first aid, -recognize symptoms and perform basic diagnostics of sudden ill health and accidents that threaten human health -provide adequate first aid for states threatening the health and life of the individual
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of children biology.

Written exam
