Course content
Curricular documents: Framework education program for elementary education (project - state level of curriculum). Objectives and approach to Health education, expected outcomes and subject matter of Health education field of study, time granted for teaching Health education. School Education Program - analysis with focus on position of Health education (project - implemented - school level of curriculum). Working with and using of documents of elementary education standards - Health education and methodic commentary and tasks for elementary education standards - Health education. Didactic transformation of education content in Health education field of study. Researches of Health education field of study curriculum on project, implemented and realized curriculum of Health education field of study. Researches for acquired level of curriculum by students of Health education field of study (also in relation to indicators and illustrative tasks within the required standard). Didactic principles and their usage in Health education. Methods and forms of Health education teaching with focus on activization methods. Preparations for teaching unit, structure and phases of teaching unit. Education tasks in health education. Textbooks and other study material, suitable websites for Health education. Material didactic means. Evaluation and marks in Health education. Teacher's personality in health education. Communication specifics in health education Seminar topics: Analysis of SEP, group work - dividing pupils in groups, rules and communication in Health education teaching; presentation of prepared model teaching units on chosen topic - self-reflection and reflection of student's performance etc. Focus is on exercising key pedagogic and didactic skills of students in model situations. Students are led to self-reflection and self-evaluation.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
After passing the course (Health education didactics 1 and Health education Didactics 2) students should be able to: - Specify objectives and functions of Health education field of study in lower secondary education; the position of Health education field of study in Framework Education Program for elementary education (FEP EE); explain expected outcomes of Health education field of study enunciated with overlap into current and future personal life of student; categorize subject matter, subject matter themes and individual parts of subject matter according to (FEP EE); show the knowledge of transversal and horizontal position of Health education in curricular documents, - Explain project, implementation, realization and acquired (adopted, resolved) level of curriculum in Health education field of study, - Analyze School Education Programs with focus on Health education topics, - Prove general knowledge in research of Health education field of study curriculum on project, implementation, realization and acquired (adopted, resolved) level of curriculum, - Use documents Standards for elementary education - Health education and Methodic commentary and tasks for elementary education standards - Health education for preparedness in Health education field of study teaching in model situations (and then in lower secondary educational reality during pedagogical practice and in professional specialization after finishing studies), - Sum up specifications of didactic transformation of educational content in Health education field of study, - Correctly formulate education goals (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) for Health education field of study and for important and partial topics of field of study, - Assess didactic principles in correlation with their usage in teaching of Health education, - Define the most used teaching methods and forms of Health education and to apply those in model examples of teaching, - Analyze suitable textbooks and other materials for teaching Health education, - Use material didactic means for teaching Health education, - Prepare a lesson including time frame, use classic model of lesson, and also EUR model of lesson (E-evocation, U-understanding, R-reflection), - Classify and apply suitable tasks for teaching Health education, - Specify possible methods of student evaluation (including student's education results) in Health education field of study, - Evaluate requirements (professional, didactic and personal) for teacher of Health education field of study, Acquire didactic competence for application of teaching Health education in elementary school.
By passing courses Didactics of Health education 1 and Didactics of Health education 2 students acquire didactic competence for Health education field of study.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance, Didactic Test, Seminar Work

Combined form of study: oral exam (testing of achieved study results), participation on tutorials, study of recommended sources, seminar essay on given topic (condition for getting course credit), presentation of prepared Health education teaching unit (shortened version), self-study - in preparation for exam.
