Course content
1. History and organization of sport for persons with physical disabilities. 2. Classification in sports for persons with PD. 3. Sports for persons with PD - athletics, cycling. 4. Sports for persons with PD - basketball, rugby, ball games. 5. Sports for persons with PD - winter activities. 6. Sports for persons with PD - swimming, water sports. 7. Sports for persons with PD - racquet sports. 8. Sports for persons with CP 9. Meaning of sport participation and self-perception. 10. PE in special schools. 11. Inclusion of students with PD in general education. 12. Experiential education and persons with PD.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
This course is designed to teach students about basic principles of work with persons with physical disabilities in APA, to teach them about history and organization of the sport for persons with physical disabilities and about specific adaptations related to particular wheelchair sports.
After passing successfully closing requirements of the course student will: 1. understand organization of sports for persons with physical disabilities. 2. understand classification of athletes in various sports. 3. understand unique needs of persons with PD and to be able to adapt activities according to their needs. 4. be aware of outdoor activities and experiential education within APA.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in problem of physical disability.
