Conditions for physical education in special schools 5. Curriculum development 6. Assessment and evaluation 7. Individual education plan in physical education 8. Lesson planning 9. Principles of adaptations 10. In service training and life-long learning 11. Cooperation and communication in APE 12. Advocacy and legislation 13. Models of change for adapted physical education

Learning outcomes
Aim of the course is to provide insight and understanding of physical education for students with special educational needs in inclusive physical education and in adapted physical education in special schools.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

1. Active participation in 80% of lectures and seminars 2. PPT presentation of selected topics 3. 1 page review of selected articles 4. Portfolio with all assignments and worksheets 5. Microteaching in selected activity 6. Final exam
