Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide students with advanced practical instruction in the practice of Pilates. The students will deepen their knowledge of different types of Pilates, principles of breathing and body movements. The course deals with the Body & Mind method - the connection and conscious interplay of body and mind. The advanced level of Pilates includes balance, strength and stretching exercises. Pilates focuses on eliminating muscle imbalances and faulty movement patterns, including faulty posture, with a focus on correct breathing and engaging the deep stabilization system - the core.
