Course content
Throughout the course the students will develop an acceptable organization structure and then fulfil tasks appropriate to the respective department within the organization structure in order to prepare a significant sports event PU Athletic Championship. This sports event will always take place on the last Wednesday of April. The course is rounded off with evaluation of the whole event including individual feedback interviews with the members of the organizing team.

  • Attendace - 26 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 24 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is practical application of knowledge and skills gained in the ZAMA (KZAMA) course and existing management skills in the context of a significant sports event. The students are supposed to plan, organize, deliver and evaluate a PU Athletic Championship. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to plan and deliver a significant sports event.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the ZAMA or KZAMA course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student

Active participation in seminars. Fulfilment of tasks associated with the delivery of a sports event in the capacity determined by the event director or lecturer.
