Course content
Planning Legislation of the Czech handball federation Didactics (types of training in handball) Analysis of a demo training unit Defence combinations Fast attack and defence against fast attack Attack systems (progressive attack) Defence systems Goalkeeper training Foreign handball and sports games terminology (English, German) Use of sport-testers in training.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to teach students comprehensive knowledge of game systems (defence and attack) in terms of training and use in matches. The students will learn handball planning and apply handball planning in practice. The course includes training of a fast attack and goalkeeper training. The student will be presented with information about foreign handball terminology. One of the objectives will be the application of sport-testers in the training process. Upon completion of the course and successful defence of a bachelor's thesis the student can apply for handball coaching licence B. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
The student will be capable of applying the acquired knowledge in handball training or in PE lessons. With handball coaching licence B the student can coach any handball team up to men's and women's first league and any junior or children team. The student will be capable of using the Team Polar sport-tester and required software directly in training sessions.

Successful completion of Sports specialization 3 - handball course.
