Course content
1) Topic: Credit requirements, introduction of handball rules, game positions, passing + shooting. 2) Topic: Individual attacking and defending activities, personal defence system. 3) Topic: Centre back activities: defence and attack. 4) Topic: Wing activities: defence and attack. 5) Topic: Pivot activities: defence and attack. 6) Topic: Goalkeeper activities. 7) Topic: Fast attack ? defence and attack, counterattack. 8) Topic: Progressive attack, defence of progressive attack (attack and defence systems). 9) Topic: Beach handball. 10) Topic: Mini handball 4+1, school handball competitions organized by the Association of School Sports Clubs. 11) Topic: Practical credits.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to teach students basic game activities in handball. The students will know the theory of various game positions, handball rules, basic information about beach handball and wheelchair handball. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
The student acquires a comprehensive competence to understand the principles of game performance in handball in terms of knowledge (handball rules) and practical skills (individual activities, game combinations, game systems). The students will use this knowledge and skills as future teachers in physical education lessons in elementary and secondary schools or in children's leisure activities.

Written exam, Student performance, Didactic Test, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work

Active participation in seminars, taking practical exercises (5 shots at a goal, individual attacks), game performance in a match, handball rules verified by a test, game observation record.
