Course content
Aspects of a good presentation. Collocation work. Language features difficult for Czech learners of English. Students' presentations.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at developing communicative skills and further fostering both receptive and productive skills over a fairly broad thematic range. Frequent sentence patterns are practised, as are relevant collocations.
Proficiency in English at B2.2-C1.1 and computer literacy in designing the presentation using power point.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of linguistic

Preparation and delivery of a short presentation on a chosen topic negotiated with the teacher in the second half of the term. It should be 8-10 minutes long, drawing on verbal and/or visual Power Point Presentation input.
