Aspects of a good presentation. Collocation work. Language features difficult for Czech learners of English. Students' presentations.

Learning outcomes |
The course is aimed at developing communicative skills and further fostering both receptive and productive skills over a fairly broad thematic range. Frequent sentence patterns are practised, as are relevant collocations.
Proficiency in English at B2.2-C1.1 and computer literacy in designing the presentation using power point. |

Analysis of linguistic
Preparation and delivery of a short presentation on a chosen topic negotiated with the teacher in the second half of the term. It should be 8-10 minutes long, drawing on verbal and/or visual Power Point Presentation input. |
