Course content
The seminars are taught online via Zoom. Zoom links will be sent to the students a few days before the online seminars to their upol emails. The defenses of students´ business plans can be held on campus (this, as well as the assignment of SE business plans, will be specified during the course). Seminars schedule and topics for ST 2024: February 20: Sustainability in Business (Jaroslava Kubátová) February 27: Cultural differences and specifics influencing sustainable business (Jaroslava Kubátová) March 5: Social enterprises leaders and stakeholders (Jaroslava Kubátová) March 12: SE: its conceptualization in European countries. (Ondřej Kročil) March 19: Social enterprise business plan - the specifics of economic sustainability of SE. Financing of SE. (Ondřej Kročil) March 25: Crisis management of SE (Ondřej Kročil) April 9: SE business plans - discussion, defenses (Ondřej Kročil, Jaroslava Kubátová)

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to prepare new social entrepreneurs for the current global environment with all its opportunities as well as challenges.
At the end of the course the students will be able to develop a business plan for a sustainable social enterprise.
Prerequisites
Required expertise: Basic knowledge in economics and management. Technical requirements: This is an online course for students across Aurora Alliance Universities. Zoom and Moodle are used in this course. Appropriate equipment and a stable internet connection are necessary to attend the course.
