Student performance

Practical training certificate: On the first day at their "home" departments, students will receive a form called "Practical training in internal medicine". This will be used for written assessments, records on the length of training, special training at selected departments, participation in seminars and active or passive participation of students in procedures. At the end of week 10, students having their training in the University Hospital Olomouc will obtain an entry (course unit credit) into their student's books by teachers in charge of their training at Dept. of Internal Medicine I, II or III, after they hand in the filled-in "Practical training in internal medicine" form. The forms will be archived in the students' files. Similarly, students having their training in the University Hospital Ostrava will obtain the course unit credit from the head of the internal department after handing in the filled-in "Practical training in internal medicine" form. The form will then be sent to the respective ("home") department of internal medicine in Olomouc where the student will sit for the state examination. The course unit credit may be entered into the student's book (index) no later than on the day of the practical part of the state examination.
