Course content
Current trends in diagnosis and therapy of cerebrovascular diseases. Neurological diagnosis in craniocerebral injuries; impaired consciousness. Diagnosis and therapy of brain tumours, infectious and demyeliniating diseases of the CNS, vertebrogenic diseases, including vertebrovisceral disorders, muscle and degenerative diseases.

Learning outcomes
The subject deals with selected neurological disorders, with respect to the character of the field of study. It teaches how to understand rehabilitation consequences in neurology. Current trends in diagnosis and therapy of cerebrovascular diseases. Neurological diagnosis in craniocerebral injuries; impaired consciousness. Diagnosis and therapy of brain tumours, infectious and demyeliniating diseases of the CNS, vertebrogenic diseases, including vertebrovisceral disorders, muscle and degenerative diseases.
Students receive basic information about current issues in neurology to the extent necessary for future rehabilitation workers.
