Course content
The teaching of the subject is a combination of e-learning (self-study on the basis of previously sent study materials) and full-time seminars (workshops). Students will try out the theoretical information obtained by self-study in the field of electronic information sources and citation ethics at follow-up seminars.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the issue of finding relevant sources for their final theses and with the general issues of citation and citation ethics.
Students will learn to define the main concepts of their study topic and formulate them into a search query, get acquainted with effective search strategies and learn to evaluate relevant sources of information. They will learn to work with professional databases, store and export information obtained from them and use their additional functions. Students will also get general knowledge in the field of citation ethics and learn to work with the citation manager Citation PRO Plus.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of computer literacy and the ability to critically evaluate the information obtained.

Student performance

Credit is awarded for studying online materials, active participation in seminars and completion of the final task.
