Course content
Five one-day excursions to various localities and habitats within Moravia. Demonstrations of particular plant species, their key characters, ecology and distribution. Collecting herbarium specimens.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get knowledge of common and important wild vascular plant species of the Czech Republic.
Student should be able to (after attending the course): - To determine common,phytogeographically and ecologically important plant species of the Czech Rep. - Explain their taxonomical, ecological and phytogeographical characteristics. - Use determination keys in plant identification.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of morphology of vascular plants.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

100% attendance. Determination test of plants demonstrated during the excursions.
