Course content
Physico-chemical properties of water, the general composition of water; inorganic substances in water (major cations and anions, toxic metals, nutrients); organic compounds in water (humic substances, pesticides, hydrocarbons, halogen derivatives, surfactants); types of water and the water cycle in nature; chemical equilibria in water, water quality.

The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
