Course content
Course is aiming to provide a place for regular meeting of students and lecturers working in hydorbiology to discuss about bachelor and diploma theses from algology, limnology and microbial ecology. Invited speakers talk about heir research and practical outputs of their work. Attention will be paid also how to get new literature (on-line sources) and how to write a scientic paper. Output of this course is writing a one A4 page - Introduction - where students present a state of art of their diploma thesis topic. They discuss the results and conclusions of previously published studies, and explain why the current study is of scientific interest.

The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Knowledge, Comprehension, Synthesis At the end of the course the student is expected to: - be able to prezent his(her) scientific data and discuss about the particular topic - be able to judge the quality of the data and results obtained during his(her) research and research ofother students of invited researchers
