Course content
The students are supervised by the tutors to the theoretical as well as practical skills in assessment of various impacts of the projects in the areas of Natura 2000 as well as the protected sites under Czech legislation (Law # 114/1992 Sb.). The course participants will be trained in legislation and methods on the examples of tangible examples and possible mistakes. There will be, as a part of the course, training for a tendering and financial calculation of the offer on the Terms of references. During the course the students will do a fictive project where they will should to prepare calculation, assessment and final presentation of their results.

Learning outcomes
The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Evaluation - Be familiar with the background in the legislative process "EIA", "Biological assessment" and "Assessment of articles Natura 2000 in the CR and EU context - be able to evaluate the status of the studied locality based on examples and pilot studies; the extent of the planned intervention and propose locality management - Obtain and analyze diverse input - Control management processes, requiring the cooperation of experts and coordinating team

Written exam and individual work presentation.
