Learning outcomes
|
Points at issue of the 19th century architecture in the centre of individual, group strategy and oppositions. The main objective is to comprehend the situation in Central Europe, the key issues are integrated into the wider European, eventually non-European context. Emphasis is placed on the transformation of architectural form (morphology) and the development of building types. Remembered is also the social role of the construction work: architecture as a medium expressing the transformation of the professional society to civil society.
Deeper understanding of architecture in Central Europe in the long century (1780-1914), obtaining a description of the art-skills material, obtaining analytical capabilities, architectural masterpieces and placed in a broader context.
