Course content
Critical reflection of exhibition as a medium of modern art, a relationship between context and text in the frame of exhibition, a relationship between art works and the space of galleries, modern exhibition and art trade, exhibition and art criticism, theory and praxis of creation of exhibition.

Learning outcomes
The exhibition is one of the most frequent forms of making access to art historical research. Like written or spoken text, exhibition is an autonomous medium with its own rules of play. There is a whole range of possibilities how to work with artwork, which are shown by numerous historical examples. The aim of the course is presentation of these approaches, critical reflection of them and practical application (preparation of the exhibition on a particular topic). The course is limited by the number of students, is intended for bachelor's and master's students and will be given in 4 teaching blocks, always on Fridays, students will be informed about specific dates in a timely manner.
